Privacy Policy

Effective date: 12 October 2026

This policy explains what information the game Mat Rempit: The Rise (the "Game", Android package com.raeytech.mrtr, plus the PC version) and this website handle. The Game and website are made by Raey Tech ("we", "us").

In short: the Game has no accounts, no ads and no analytics of its own. Your progress is saved on your own device. Multiplayer only works on your local network. We don't collect, sell or share your personal data.

Want your data gone? See how to delete your data.

1. Information the Game stores on your device

  • Save files: your profile (the player name you type in, money, bikes, items, progress) is saved in the Game's private storage on your device. It is not sent to us.
  • Settings: things like controls, riding view and display mode are stored on your device.

We have no server that receives this data, and we can't see it.

2. Local multiplayer (LAN)

When you play with friends, the Game talks directly to other devices on the same Wi-Fi network or phone hotspot (UDP on the local network; the host announces the game with a local broadcast so friends can find it). Players in the same session see your player name, your rider and bike appearance, your position and riding, and race / job activity in that session. Your device's local network address is visible to the other players' devices so they can connect. Nothing is sent over the internet, and nothing is stored by us. You can switch "Open to LAN" off in the menu at any time.

3. Permissions

The Android app uses the Internet / network permission only so local multiplayer can work on your Wi-Fi or hotspot. It doesn't ask for your location, contacts, camera, microphone or files.

4. The game engine (Unity)

The Game is built with the Unity engine. We have not turned on Unity Analytics, Unity Ads or Unity cloud crash reporting. However, Unity may automatically collect limited, non-personal technical information about the device (such as hardware model, operating system and graphics capabilities) when the Game starts, as part of its engine. This is handled by Unity Technologies under its own privacy policy: unity.com/legal/privacy-policy.

5. Google Play

If you install the Game from Google Play (including as a tester), Google processes information about your account and installation under the Google Privacy Policy. If you join the closed test, we receive the email address you give us so we can add you to the testers list; we use it only for that and to contact you about the test.

6. This website

This site has no cookies, no analytics and no trackers, and it doesn't load fonts or scripts from other services. Like any website, our web host may keep standard server logs (such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested) for security and to keep the site running.

7. Children

The Game is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone. Since the Game doesn't collect personal data, there is nothing for us to hold about children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information (for example by email), contact us and we will delete it.

8. Keeping and deleting your data

  • Delete your game progress with Menu > Start new game, or uninstall the Game (which removes its saved data from your device).
  • If you emailed us (for example to join the test), ask us to delete your email and we will.

9. Your rights (Malaysia PDPA 2010)

We follow the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (Malaysia). You may ask to access or correct any personal data we hold about you (in practice, only an email address if you contacted us), or ask us to delete it.

10. Security

Your save data stays on your device and is protected by your device's own security. Local multiplayer traffic stays on your own network.

Online multiplayer (planned): online play is not in the Game yet. Before a version with online play is released, we will update this policy to explain exactly what is sent over the internet and why.

11. Changes

If the Game starts using new services (for example online features), we will update this policy before that change goes out and change the effective date above.
